I bought ANOTHER blue 20 year old Porsche Cayenne, and I regret nothing. Unfortunately, the previous owner left a lot to be desired with this car, as with most Porsches of this age. There were quite a few minor fixes that had to be done to bring this daily driver to my standards, mostly being cosmetic items and a few mechanical items.
Any Porsche of this age is likely going to be costly to keep on the road. Most 955 and 957 Cayennes have went through a few previous owners at this point and likely at least one of these owners did not keep up on maintenance. Whenever I buy a car, I like to go through it top to bottom and fix everything I see so I’m ready to drive it with minimal maintenance for the next few years.
