We are Interface Children & Family Service’s Youth Crisis & Homeless Services Department, a team in Ventura County dedicated to supporting youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. In 2025, we served over 300 runaway and homeless youth through trauma-informed care and supportive services when they needed it most. With your support, we can provide essential hygiene products, clothing, shelter, and critical resources that help young people feel safe, supported, and seen during their most vulnerable moments.

In this video, you’ll hear from our Youth Crisis & Homeless Services Director, Andrew Huizar. He reflects on the difference our team has made over the past year and how Project for Awesome funding would allow us to care for, support, and change the lives of even more youth.
