Angela Okorie came out and said she had unfollowed Mercy Johnson's goddaughter, Regina Daniels and others. She claimed that they sent her several arrows to her, but it didn't work, and she promised they would soon cry blood. She boldly told Mercy that physically and spiritually, she can't be silenced.
However, in July of 2025, the Nollywood diva, in an Instagram live, said she had forgiven Mercy Johnson because she learnt she was seriously sick. Angela further advised Mercy Johnson to seek forgiveness from the people she had wronged and to stop using church words that don't represent her.
In Early January 2026, Mercy John arrested a TikTok blogger for a baseless story about her husband and an alleged side chick. Making a video about the issue after many including VDM came to the blogger's rescue, the mother of four said she had forgiven and released the blogger, but she has other people in the industry who have rubished her name, and she is still planning to arrest.
