The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence is a 1.7-kilometre strip on the ground and plaza levels of the complex. It was developed by Dubai Properties, was completed by 2007 and opened officially in August 2008. The Beach provides a view of the Ain Dubai (formerly the Dubai Eye) observation wheel on Bluewaters Island, an artificial island.

The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a popular promenade where you can shop, dine and stroll by the sea. The buzzing beachside boulevard – which is free to visit – offers the opportunity to satisfy your retail cravings with an array of fashion, home and handicraft shops and boutiques.

Featured shopping attractions include gift shop I Love Dubai, luxury coats store Manzari and a host of other international retailers. Another highlight is the variety of outdoor pop-up markets where you can check out stalls offering jewellery, food treats and homewares, as well as take in performances by street entertainers. This 1.7km-long strip is worth visiting for the whole family – no matter your age, there's always something to see and do.

How to get to JBR?

You can get to JBR using the below transportation options:

Dubai Metro: Board a Red Line train and get off at the Sobha Realty or DMCC metro station. Exit the station and head towards the pedestrian bridge that connects to Dubai Marina Mall. Cross the pedestrian bridge and follow signs to JBR, which is a short walk away.
Bus: The most common bus routes serving JBR are 8, 84 and F55. Get off at Jumeirah Beach Residence 1. From here, it takes approximately five minutes to walk to JBR's beach, gastronomy or retail areas.
