We often think that being cheap and cutting costs as much as possible is a bad thing; however, in some occasions, being cheap is actually a good thing. In this video, I explain why being cheap is important and how to use it to improve your life.

If you are in a bad financial situation and feel stuck, the reality is that being cheap is the only way you will get in a better situation. If you cut all of your expenses to the bare minimum, it gives you more money to focus on getting in a better situation.

2. It Allows You To Fully Attack Getting In A Better Situation

When you decide to be cheap, it opens up the maximum amount of money to have in order to get in a better financial situation. Then, you can use that extra money to fully attack paying off debt and building up an emergency fund.

3. It Makes Progress A Lot Quicker

When you decide to be cheap and cut your spending to the bare minimum, you are able to fully attack getting in a better financial situation. This speeds up your progress and allows you to reach your financial goals much quicker.

And it is important to understand that this lifestyle is just temporary. It allows you to get in a better situation, but eventually once you are in a better situation, you can stop being so cheap.

When you are cheap, you are forced to learn how to be more resourceful with your money because you are trying to cut as many things out of your life as possible. Once you become resourceful with your money, when you stop being cheap, you will still have the skills of being resourceful with money.

When you are being cheap, you are really challenged to see the difference between a want and a need. We often confuse wants with needs and spend tons of money on things we don't need. When you cut your expenses to the bare minimum, you gain a deep understand of what you actually need to live.

After you are cheap for a long time, you gain a deep appreciation of the small things in life like having a meal at a restaurant, living comfortably, and spending more money on things you enjoy. Most people never go without these things and end up never truly understanding how great these things are.
