Using only 2 brushes and 7 colors we'll create a country landscape with a beautiful wooden covered bridge that sits on a hill. You'll learn how to create a building with dimension and perspective, how to create realistic shadows, and how to make flowers pop out of the canvas! So let's get painting and let's get sipping!

MATERIALS:
Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 1/2" bristle brush, #8 to #12 round brush
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, cobalt blue, fire red, deep yellow, green oxide, burnt umber
Other: palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint sky with blue and white
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint stream with brown, green, blue and white
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint grass with green and yellow
4. #8 to #12 round brush - Outline for bridge using white, brown and black
5. #8 to #12 round brush - Coloring wood with red, brown, black, yellow and white
6. #8 to #12 round brush - Finish bridge with black, brown and white
7. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint foliage using brown, green, yellow and white
8. #8 to #12 round brush - Paint the road with black, brown, white and yellow
9. #8 to #12 round brush - Create shadows using black and brown
10. #8 to #12 round brush - Paint flower stems with brown, yellow and white
11. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Finish flowers using red, yellow and white
12. #8 to #12 round brush - Signature with color of choice
