Following intelligence inputs regarding possible terrorist infiltration and attacks ahead of the New Year, security forces have intensified night-long checking operations across Jammu. Special checkpoints have been established, and strict surveillance is being maintained in sensitive areas.
Security along the India-Pakistan international border has been further tightened, with the anti-infiltration grid strengthened despite dense fog conditions. Jammu and Kashmir Police have deployed additional personnel near border areas to prevent any untoward incident.
