Описание: Diane Ryan, lead chemotherapy nurse of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK, discusses patient centered care via an electronic tool for Holistic Needs Assessment (eHNA). HNA has been used for two years, with the aim to capture what patients are really concerned about, for example life threatening side effects of chemotherapy treatment. eHNA has progressed by using an electronic device, in this instance an iPad, patients answer a series of questions covering a wide range of topics regarding their lifestyle. Nurses can then use this information to understand a bit more about the needs of patients, signposting them to what they really need in an efficient process.
