I still can't believe this moment was real. Having my "sister," the incredible Katherine Ho (yes, THAT Katherine Ho from Crazy Rich Asians) sing me down the aisle, during our first dance, AND last dance was one of the greatest gifts of our entire wedding day. Her voice, her heart, her presence — everything made this moment unforgettable.
We met back in 2018, after Crazy Rich Asians debuted. Outside of the incredible cast and crew, the music really stood out to me and I wanted to know their story. I reached out to Katherine and asked if I could interview her in the exact room at USC that she auditioned for the film in, and the rest is history. I was her first interview. So yes, having her sing ME down the aisle for my wedding was the biggest full circle experience.
