DUAL WEATHER WARNING: IMD Forecasts Severe Rain for South/West, Intense Heatwave for North India!

Описание: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a significant weather forecast for the coming days, indicating contrasting conditions across the country.

South and West India:
Over the next three days, severe to very severe rainfall is predicted for parts of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Konkan & Goa, and Maharashtra. These regions are also likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds ranging from 60 to 70 kilometers per hour at isolated places.

Northeast India:
The northeastern states can expect moderate to heavy rainfall over the next two to three days.

North and Northwest India:
Meanwhile, severe heatwave conditions are very likely to persist in regions including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh. The IMD has also issued Red Alerts for Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, and an Orange Alert for Delhi due to the extreme heat.

Citizens in affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions against both the heavy rainfall and the intense heat.
