Spring in Gyeongju and Daegu, Nature, Bingsu, Hiking & Things to Do✨ | Life in Korea

Описание: It’s Friday again, you know what it means. Another vlog from another trip just dropped!🥳 This time my friends and I are heading on a two-day, two-city trip to add a couple more visited places to our South Korea map.🇰🇷✨

Kicking off early in the morning, we hopped on a taxi to Daejeon Station. Breakfast is essential so we visited the number one bakery in Daejeon, the Sungsimdang bakery.🥐🥖💕 The great selection of delicacies almost made us miss our train but we made it just in time.😅 The train ride was comfortable as usual and we arrived to Gyeongju station where we continued by taxi to the Expo Park. On our way, the roads were beautifully decorated by the cherry blossom trees.🌸🌳

At the Expo Park we immersed in the history and art of the city of Gyeongju. We coloured some pictures, slowed down to watch timeless art pieces and took a look around the history exhibitions.🎨🖼️ Then an elevator took us up to 82 meters to observe the surrounding scenery.🏙️

After exploring the Expo Park we hopped on a bus that was packed with people.🥹🥵 Everyone was happily enjoying the spring and the cherry blossom season. Everyone was quite hungry since we had only had light breakfast in the morning.😆 Accidentally we found a cozy, small and traditional Korean style restaurant. We had a generous meal and we were ready to continue our journey.🤩🥢

The next destination was the Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. The nature was very serene and calm. We spent some time enjoying the peace of nature and the warmth of spring.🦋✨ The Palace is also very beautiful after sunset when it is illuminated. We wanted to get to know the history of Gyeongju so we stopped at the National Museum. The museum is famous for ite artifacts from the Silla dynasty.🏯⚱️

Continuing on foot along the river, we admired the stunning sunset; the scenery looked like something straight out of an anime.🎥🎞️ One of my friends had a classic old-style film camera that captured stunning photos during our journey.📸 For the rest of the day we enjoyed some Bingsu, night lights, arcade and street food.🍧😋

On the next day, we were all excited to see another city: Daegu. A 20-minute train ride took us to the heart of Daegu city. However, we wanted to spend some time in nature, so we decided to conquer the summit of Apsan Mountain.⛰️☀️ Despite the hot weather, we managed to climb up the difficult terrain with many steps and stairs. After the exhausting hike, we indulged in some Japanese-style food, ice cream, and explored the bustling city.
