Y’all. Ever since my spinal cord injury my PMS symptoms have been amplified with some additional symptoms.
Every month I experience:
❗️extreme emotional distress
❗️ increase in nerve & skeletal pain
❗️increase in spasms
❗️significant change in bowel consistency
❗️increase in bladder incontinence
❗️bloating
❗️headache
❗️debilitating cramps
I was researching magnesium to help me fall asleep and read that it also helps to reduce PMS symptoms. I started supplementing it right after my last period.
My period is predicated to start this weekend and I had almost no indication besides increase in pain (which I thought was caused by the high demand at work this week).

I supplement a lot for convenience sake but you can also get magnesium from these Whole Foods:
