In this video, I will explain how to become tax filer in Pakistan. Follwing are some steps, just followe them and you will become active filer iin FBR ATL in just 1 working day:

Step 1
Make an e-mail of concerned person.
Step 2
Open iris in FBR and select option available on screen; Registration for Unregistered persons. Fill all the particulars in the open interface, give detail about property, address and then submit.
Step 3
A code will be received one on e-mail and one on SMS. Put that code and then again submit.
Step 4
Password, ID & Pin will be received on e-mail and on SMS as well.
Step 5
Put CNIC (ID) and password in iris and select Declaration option available in opened interface and select Normal return option available in 2nd column at 2nd number.
Step 6
Select tax period in opened interface 2022 (1st July 2022-30 June 2023) .

Fill your income details in relevant tab
Step 8
Then select Computation option and check tax chargeable/adjustable if any.
Step 9
Then select Wealth Statement and add same amount of income in Reconciliation of Net Assets. Then add your assets in Personal Assets/Liabilities and then make un-reconciled amount as ‘0’ (zero).
Step 10
Select Attribute option available horizontally and fill required particulars by clicking on add (+) button available, and select your most relevant option in Business sector.
Step 11
Again go in Data option and cross verify everything
Step 12
Select Verification option and put Pin here and save data and submit.
Step 13
Once you have filed return of Tax period 2023, then logout from present interface of iris and type e.FBR and select e-payment and then income tax from available options. Here make a challan of Rs. 1,000/- for late surcharge by filling all the particulars and pay. Now you are filer and can check your status in NTN inquiry; Active Tax payers list after 1 hour.
