I Celebrated the Chhath Puja in Patna at Shri Nitish Mishra, Bihar’s Tourism and Industry Ministers home. 🌅
A celebration of devotion, gratitude, and the sun’s life-giving energy.
Here’s a quick look at the four days of the festival:
Day 1 - Nahai Khai: A cleansing ritual to purify the body and mind before the fast begins.
Day 2 - Kharna: A day of fasting, ending with the preparation of prasad (sweets).
Day 3 - Sandhya Arghya: In the evening, devotees offer prayers to the setting sun at the Ganga Ghat.
Day 4 - Usha Arghya: At sunrise, the fast is completed after offering prayers to the rising sun.
From the vibrant rituals to the delicious traditional meals, it was truly an unforgettable journey.
