A federal appeals court has ruled that President Donald does not have the right to impose sweeping tariffs under national emergency provisions, upholding a May decision by a specialized federal trade court in New York. Global’s Mackenzie Gray has more on the ruling and how the tariffs are impacting Canada’s economy.
Residents in Newfoundland and Labrador are finally returning to communities devastated by the province’s largest wildfire. The blaze destroyed more than 200 buildings and forced 2,000 people out of their homes. Now, with evacuation orders lifted, many are confronting what’s left behind. Heidi Petracek reports.
