On January 23rd, the Trump administration removed panels that discussed George Washington’s ownership of enslaved people at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
One person mentioned in these panels was Ona Judge, a young woman who escaped slavery to live in New Hampshire.
So, can we hide from history? What’s being said about Ona Judge and other aspects of Black history in New Hampshire?
