2. Christ Was Fully God

People called Jesus "God" and worshiped Him:
His name is “Immanuel” which means God with us. (Matthew 1:23)
Thomas - “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28)
Peter - “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:16)
After Jesus walked on water and saved Peter from drowning the disciples said, “Truly You are the Son of God” (Matthew 14:33)
They worshiped Him (Matthew 28:17; 29:9)

Jesus claimed to be God:
Matthew 28:18 - “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

Although we are undeserving of His sacrifice & relationship, He calls us “friend” and died anyway.

1. Jesus was human, so it's okay for you to be too.
2. Jesus was God, so submit to Him.

Come to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
He grants you eternal life and freedom from your sin.
Give your life to Him, and trust that His ways are better than yours.

Jesus died for you, now will you live for Him?

Salvation is ONLY possible through Jesus, not of ourselves!
