Описание: The second Offertoire from "Dix Pièces pour Orgue ou Piano-Pédalier" (1889) by Théodore Dubois (1837-1924). The Ten Pieces are intended for two manuals, with music printed on two staves and thus well-suited to the reed organ. The instrument is a superb two-manual, foot-pumped reed organ built by the Dominion Organ Co. of Bowmanville, Ontario in 1918, although the black walnut case was designed about twenty years before in the Renaissance Revival style. The organ contains (I believe) four ranks of reeds for each of the two keyboards, with 440 reeds total. It was restored and tuned over the last year or so by my friend Rodney Jantzi, who also restored the two other organs seen here: an oak Karn chapel organ on the left, and a walnut Berlin chapel organ on the right. All were assembled in the Great Hall of the Woodstock, Ontario Museum for the 2013 gathering of the Reed Organ Society. Recorded in rehearsal, 3 October 2013; performed by Michael Hendron.
