Chief Scientist Carl Nelson demonstrates how to create a "Naked Egg" using just a cup of vinegar and a raw egg. This is a super simple experiment you can do at home with stuff you already have.
Fill a glass with vinegar and carefully place an egg in the liquid. Over the course of a day the acetic acid in the vinegar will begin to dissolve the calcium carbonate of the egg shell. There are two thin membranes inside the shell that will hold the egg together!
