We are continuing with our Giftings teachings and this week it's the gift known as "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞".

A Word of Knowledge is a revelation from the Holy Spirit about a truth, an event that is currently occurring, or something that happened in the past. Even though it's difficult to know it in the natural world, this type of term can indicate the whereabouts, circumstances, nature, or thoughts of a person, place, or thing. This is particularly valid when healing words are said.

A Word of Wisdom is simply the precise knowledge that the Holy Spirit imparts to us on a subject that we would not otherwise be able to learn through our own knowledge. It is miraculous wisdom that the Holy Spirit Himself is imparting to us personally.

The Holy Spirit may give a word of understanding on everything, even the most insignificant things ranging from actual life-saving information on how to handle an imminent crisis or some emergency you might have.

Knowing that a word of information is primarily instructive can help you distinguish between a word of knowledge and a word of wisdom. A wise saying has greater direction.

A word of knowledge literally informs you about a problem, potential solution, individual, etc. A word of wisdom, on the other hand, focuses more on imparting wisdom or insight for guidance, what to do in a circumstance, or how to do something.
