A heartbreaking and tragic incident has been reported from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where a head-on collision between an Hyundai i20 car and a Punjab Roadways bus claimed the lives of four young men early this morning near Do Sadkan area.

According to initial reports, the i20 car was carrying five friends from Himachal Pradesh who were traveling to Amritsar Airport to drop one of their friends for an international flight. Unfortunately, due to the severe collision, four youths died on the spot, while the fifth person — who was supposed to travel abroad — survived.

The deceased were rushed to Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur, where doctors declared four of them dead. The condition of the survivor is reported to be stable.

Police reached the accident site immediately and have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary information suggests the collision was extremely intense, leading to massive damage to the car.

This tragic accident has left families and locals in deep shock and mourning.
