The Four Cognitive Perceiving Functions (Se/Ne/Si/Ni)

Описание: Due to popular request, I've decided to make videos explaining all of Carl Jungian's Eight Cognitive Functions that are used in the Myers Briggs Typology System. This video is an explanation of the four Perceiving Functions. We all have two of these. Figure out which one is your strongest and most resonated one. And I'll provide my personal notes below for anyone interested.

Notes:

Extroverted Sensing (Se): 1:55
-In the moment
-Catch everything
-In tune with body
-Intuitive when it comes to physical world (ball/instruments)
-Literal and take things at face value
-Crash quickly
-Stylish
-Super spontaneous and able to seize the moment.
-Jump into things without thought (inferior or tertiary Ni)


Extroverted Intuition (Ne): 9:50
-"What if?" (Possibilities)
-Love playing devil's advocate because they enjoy exploring all sides.
-Short attention span. Bore easily.
-Topic jumper.
-Prone to contradict if Ti or Fi is undeveloped.
-Triangular Thoughts and Ideas

Introverted Sensing (Si): 17:17
-Applying info to what you've seen in the past.
-Using the past as a guide (experiences).
-Could even utilize someone else's memory.
-Using their understanding of the impact of our pasts to make good memories.
-People (FJ) vs Systems (TJ)
-Prefer the Tried and True (Reliable)
-Factual and concrete, details and routine to fall back on.

Introverted Intuition (Ni): 20:50
-Perspectives and Meta-Cognition
-Internal Framework
-Great at 20Q
-Dig deeply into one topic at a time
-Long term planners
-Epiphanies even weeks later (subconscious synthesis)
-Focused and "Zen-Like"
