UNARC Event: Beyond Policing

Описание: This video, from 10 May 2023, features a virtual event organised by UNARC, the UN Anti-Racism Coalition. The event aimed to provide the International Independent Expert Mechanism to Advance Racial Justice and Equality in Law Enforcement (EMLER) and OHCHR with a pathway grounded in the experiences and perspectives of people on the ground. It also brought discussions on reimagining policing - currently taking place in academic and movement spaces—to UN mechanisms that can take action.
