Molokini Crater is known for its beauty, but once you step outside the crescent and hit the vertical 350ft drop-off, the ocean changes. In this video, we go from the calm interior—finding octopuses and eels—to a heart-pounding encounter with Gray Reef Sharks on the outer wall.
The visibility was endless, the drop was dizzying, and one particular shark decided to get a little closer than usual.
