📍Piramide del Sol - The Pyramid of the Sun also known as Piramide del Sol is the most iconic and largest structure in the ancient city of Teotihuacan, located near Mexico City. Built around 200 CE, it stands approximately 65 meters (213 feet) tall and measures over 220 meters wide at its base. It was a central place for religious ceremonies, possibly dedicated to a sun deity, though its exact purpose remains a mystery. Aligned with astronomical events, the pyramid reflects the advanced knowledge of the ancient Teotihuacanos. Today, it attracts thousands of visitors who climb its steep steps for panoramic views of the Avenue of the Dead and the surrounding ruins.

Teotihuacán is an ancient Mesoamerican city located just northeast of modern-day Mexico City.
