Supreme Court order - Give money for daughter's marriage, then divorce

Mala Dixit, New Delhi. On Monday, there was a strange sight of the bargaining of relationships in the Supreme Court. A man of about 60 years was standing before the court demanding divorce. And the court was saying that first give one and a half lakh rupees for the marriage of the daughter. Give seven lakh rupees for the maintenance of the wife. After that you will be divorced. Along with this, all the cases pending against you in the lower court will also be ended.
The court adjourned the hearing of the matter till December 5, giving it time to consider. It was time for the court to rise on Monday. But, the bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra was telling the 60-year-old man the meaning of relationships and the customs of the society.
