EntertainmentBot – AI-Powered Entertainment Bot Helping Depressed Users Through Conversations Games

Описание: Mental health disorders represent a significant global public health challenge, contributing to rising morbidity, mortality, and socioeconomic burden. Increasing prevalence of depression and anxiety disorders, combined with barriers such as stigma, limited accessibility, and long waiting periods for clinical consultation, highlights the need for scalable digital support systems. While existing mental health chatbots provide conversational assistance, many rely on rule-based mechanisms and lack integrated machine learning models for structured depression severity assessment and personalized intervention planning.

This project introduces the Conversational Depression Assessment and Entertainment Recommendation Engine (CDA-ERE), developed as a full-stack web application using Python and the Django framework in accordance with IEEE academic standards. The system integrates Dialogflow-based natural language processing with supervised machine learning algorithms for depression classification and severity analysis.

CDA-ERE enables users to engage in structured conversational assessments, where responses are analyzed to determine depression risk levels. Based on classification outcomes, the system generates personalized entertainment and wellness recommendations aimed at mood enhancement and cognitive engagement. An administrative dashboard supports monitoring of anonymized engagement metrics, system performance, and analytical insights.

The framework emphasizes accessibility, privacy-aware design, and stigma reduction by offering a non-intrusive digital interaction environment. Designed strictly for academic and research purposes, this project demonstrates the integration of conversational AI, machine learning-based mental health assessment, and full-stack web deployment to support scalable digital mental wellness systems.
