Observation #1: John refused to make himself the purpose or focus of his ministry. (vs.20-21)
Exhortation #1: You must refuse to make yourself the purpose or focus of any service to the Lord.

Observation #2: John remained faithful in ministry to which God called him. (vs.22-27)
Exhortation #2: You must remain faithful in the ministry to which God called you.
