Saloni and Nahar are shocked with Pia's statement, but Brijesh makes it clear that the decision has been made and no one will think against it. Saloni tells Nahar that he should talk to Brijesh and make him realise that Pia is not happy with the alliance. However, Nahar tells Saloni that Brijesh will never go against their father's wish. Later, Saloni meets Pia and tries to comfort her, but Pia makes it clear that she will commit suicide if she is forced to marry Sumer, Ranjit's son. Later, Saloni gets shocked when Sridhar arrives to meet Pia. Saloni tells Sridhar to leave immediately as it is not the right time to meet Pia. However, before he can leave, Brijesh arrives and asks Sridhar to come inside. Brijesh then phones Ranjit and fixes Pia's engagement for the next day. He then tells Sridhar that Pia's engagement has been fixed and warns him of dire consequences if he ever tries to meet her. Later, Pia phones Sridhar and tells him that she will never marry Sumer and devises a plan. Meanwhile, Brijesh meets Nahar and tells him that he is no more in charge of Pia's marriage as he does not find him trustworthy enough. Nahar feels bad, but there is nothing that he can do. Later, while having dinner, Brijesh notices that Pia is missing. He goes to Pia's room and tries to make her realise that he is just honouring their late father's wish. However, he gets irked when Pia confronts him. In a fit of rage, Brijesh slaps Pia, much to her annoyance.
