RIDE Cymru - the perimeter of Wales charity challenge motorcycle event. The year was 2014 and the event was in its 3rd year. This was to be the last year as ordinary bikers as the year after we donned Evel Knievel suits to bring a splash of fun & colour to a serious challenge event. Paying tribute to the legend Evel Knievel has continued year after year since with the culmination of the Knievel family flying over to join us in 2025.
The 2026 event returns to our roots - the back lane outer-outer perimeter of Wales. This 2014 footage takes us back to where we return in 2026 - be it with Knievel suits and flapping capes - BEING EVEL FOR A GOOD CAUSE. The RIDE Cymru events have from 2012 to 2025 raised just shy of £300,000 for charities.
