Workers

Описание: Using worker as a transporter:
In the storage of a supermarket, there is one worker to take the products from the truck and put them on the shelves inside the storage. The worker speed is 0.3 meter per second. He needs 0.13 min to take the products from the truck and 1 min to put them on the shelves. He can carry only 2 products (units) at time. The other worker walks by 1 meter per second and carry only one product at time. He needs 3 min to put the product on the shelves inside the supermarket. There are 4 products in each truck and the truck interarrival time is EXPO(10) min

Summary:
1. To change the worker speed, go to "Initial Desired Speed" in "Travel Logic" in worker's properties
2. To specify the time that the worker needs it to load or unload the object, go to "Load Time" and "Unload Time" in "Transport Logic" in worker's properties.

3. To specify the number of objects that the worker can carry at a time, go to "Initial Ride Capacity" in "Transport Logic" in worker's properties.
4. To specify the path that the worker will work on it, go to the the transfer node at the beginning of each path (or connector) and change "Ride on Transporter" property to "True". In "Transporter Type" choose either "Specific" to select one worker or "Select From List" if there are multiple workers.

Using the worker as a resource:
In a gas station, the cars enter the station and being served by one on three workers (1,2 and 3). The workers speed is 3 meter per second. In the station there is a place for only 5 cars and the processing time is Triangular (3,5,10) min. The cars interarrival time is EXPO(10) min. If there is one car in the station it will be served by worker 3 and if there is another car at the same time it will be served by worker2. Worker1 will serve the third car in the station.

Summary:
1. To assign the workers in the server, from server properties, go to "Secondary Resource" then "Object Type". Choose either "Specific" or "Select From List" and choose the suitable object.
In "Selection Goal", choose the way that you ant to select workers form the list.
In "Request Move", choose "To Node" if you want the worker to move to a node to work, and from "Destination Node" specify the node that you want the worker to go to it (or the station that he works in it)
