After trying out “Flowkey,” another piano learning app, I wanted to give Simply Piano a try, as it is the most popular one on the App Store.
Like Flowkey, I can try it for a week.
It says you can access over 5,000 sheet music pieces. Exciting, right?
Well… here’s the biggest hurdle I experienced:
To access the sheet music, you have to complete the “Essentials III” course.
It took me about three days. That’s half of my free trial gone.
Was it difficult? No! Not at all.
It just requires you to go through all the steps.
Especially since I used my old iPad, it didn’t read my playing correctly, and I had to do it over and over again.
This song is at an “Arpeggios” level — a few steps beyond “Essentials III.”
As you can see, it’s still very, very easy.
So… if you are an intermediate player, I recommend skipping trying out Simply Piano.
