"BasSpain" es un personaje imaginario que, con su tuba al hombro, recorre España llevando su música folclórica a cada rincón. Su viaje comienza en la vibrante Barcelona, continúa por la mística Galicia, pasa por la luminosa Valencia y culmina en la apasionada Sevilla.

Cada lugar se convierte en un movimiento de esta suite musical: cuatro estampas vibrantes llenas de alegría y complejidad, que suponen un desafío para el tubista y un deleite para quienes la escuchan. Una obra de espíritu libre y alma viajera que, a través del folclore y la tradición, une a España en una danza sonora que celebra su diversidad y belleza cultural.

Encargo del solista de tuba Daniel Ridder para enriquecer el repertorio para Tuba.

Dedicado con profunda admiración al extraordinario tubista alemán Daniel Ridder, en reconocimiento a su pasión por la tuba y su valiosa contribución al enriquecimiento del repertorio dedicado a este maravilloso instrumento.

"BasSpain" is an imaginary character who, with his tuba, travels around Spain taking its folk music to every corner. His journey begins in the exciting Barcelona, continues through the mystical Galicia, the lightful Valencia and ends in the passionate Seville.

Each place turns into a movement of this suite: four vibrant scenes full of joy and complexity, becoming a challenge for the tubist and a delight for the listeners. A free-spirited work with a travelling soul that, through folklore and tradition, unites Spain in a celebration of its beauty and diversity.

Commissioned by tubist Daniel Ridder to enrich the repertoire for Tuba.
