Urvashi pretends offering sympathy to Kaveri and subtly tries to instigate her against Saloni, but Kaveri tells Urvashi that she is very fortunate to have a sister-in-law like Saloni. Meanwhile, everyone is geared up to celebrate the festival of 'Teej', a festival celebrated by married women who fast for their husband's longevity. Narpat and his family are planning to go to Saloni's place to celebrate 'Teej', but Ambica gets irked when Shubra tells her that she will stay back at home. Ambica makes it clear that everyone is going to Saloni's place as they have specially invited them. Shubra then phones Karan and tells him that she wants to break her fast with him. Finally, the celebration of 'Teej' begins and both the families celebrate it with full zest. However, Kaveri and Urvashi are missing their husbands, while Shubra is missing Karan. Later, at the time of breaking the fast, Kaveri asserts that she will eat only after Samar arrives. Shubra also does not break her fast as Neel has not arrived yet. However, she is waiting for Karan. Soon, Samar arrives, much to Kaveri's delight. Samar makes it clear that he has come just for the sake of a ritual, not to revive their alliance. Soon, Neel also arrives, but everyone gets worried when they don't find Shubra. Shubra meets Karan slyly and asks him to help her break her fast. However, before Karan can give Shubra something to eat, someone intervenes!
