** UPDATE **
3k miles including two track events and laying down 1100 wheel horse the lash cap .060 I went with has worked perfectly. Fuel pressure both high and low are right on point. I can’t stress enough how important the fuel systems are on these GenV engines.
Installed a Vengeance Racing stage 3 camshaft with a tri-fuel lobe 32% fuel increase. To ensure proper preload on the HPFP I installed a .060 lash cap and this video demonstrates how to be certain you don't bottom out your HPFP with a lash cap and feel safe it still has proper preload. If you don't have proper preload it can wear the tip of the fuel pump rod and/or the lifter and then cause noise and eventually premature failure. I know a lot of people who skip this step but it's so crucial, especially to maintain proper pressure up top.
I've got break-in miles on my engine now and not one issue so far with my HPFP so the .060 lash cap was perfect for the correct amount of preload.
