On December 1st 2025 Jessica Jackson, Danielle Carter-Walters (Vice President, Chicago Flips Red), and I are holding a press conference at the Cook county Building near Maria Pappas Cook County Treasurer to address escalating corruption and misconduct across Cook County’s political, judicial, and property-tax systems.

The press conference will highlight:

Key Issues
• Public Administration failures
• Property tax fraud, tampering & over-assessment targeting Black homeowners
• Corruption inside City of Chicago and Cook County departments
• The financial and housing crisis surrounding the Obama Presidential Center
• New Chief Judge Charles Beach and the urgent need for investigations into judicial misconduct
• Unlawful demolitions, land theft, and attacks on generational wealth in Black communities

Chicago Flips Red will present evidence showing how systemic corruption — driven by entrenched Democratic leadership — has resulted in record foreclosures, illegal demolitions, inflated tax bills, and displacement near the Obama Presidential Center.

This press conference will serve as an urgent call for:
• Federal oversight and intervention
• Judicial accountability and transparency
• Protection of homeowners in blighted and over-targeted areas
• Property tax reform in Cook County
• Immediate review of corrupt practices by city and county officials
