Trooper's Report:
On October 24th, at approximately 1:19 pm, Troop A Dispatch advised that a green Jeep Gladiator (Arkansas license plate
number- AVU63C) had just been stolen from a hospital off of I-630. Last known location was headed towards I-630. Little Rock
Police Department also advised that the women in the vehicle could also be armed due to there being a firearm that was left in
the vehicle at the time of the theft. Troop A advised the SUV was being tracked and was traveling south on I-530 and then took
Exit 10 on to U.S. 167 South.
I was able to gain a visual of the pickup at U.S. 167 and Gillette Trail. The pickup was traveling approximately 85mph in 60mph
zone. I caught up to the vehicle and initiated my lights and siren. I observed the driver start to shake her head “no” as if she
was telling me that she was not going to pull over. The vehicle then went from the slow lane over into the fast lane of traffic. I
then performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) on the pickup at 7315 U.S. 167. This caused the pickup to leave the
roadway to the right and overturn before coming to rest.
After clearing the vehicle, I observed a black female (PAIGE SHANDREL FLOOD, B/F) (Suspended Driver’s
License) who had been ejected from the vehicle lying in the weeds unresponsive. While waiting on medical, a pedestrian
stopped and advised she observed this pickup driving recklessly and passing people on the right shoulder on U.S. 167 .
Medical personnel arrived on scene and started tending to FLOOD until she was transported to UAMS by MEMS.
The firearm that was located in the vehicle at the scene that was also stolen was a SIG 9MM (S/N 58J275536) pistol. Due to
the extent of FLOOD’S injuries, an affidavit is being filed for an arrest warrant for FLOOD for this incident.
The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD report number is 2025-133033) was notified that the pickup and firearm had been
recovered, and the owner came to the scene and retrieved his belongings from the pickup. East End Towing towed the vehicle
from the scene (20251024143535ASR).
The charges that are being filed on FLOOD are:
5-54-125: Fleeing (D Felony)
5-36-106: Theft By Receiving (Firearm) (D Felony)
5-36-106: Theft By Receiving Greater Than $25,000 (B Felony)
5-73-103: Possession of Firearm by Certain Person (B Felony)
27-50-308: Reckless Driving
27-16-303: Driving on a Suspended License
27-37-702: No Seatbelt
27-51-201: Speeding More Than 15mph
My patrol unit did sustain damage to the front bumper, front driver's side quarter panel, and the front push bumper as well
during this incident.
