If you're self-employed, chances are - you've realized how expensive it is to purchase your own individual health insurance policy. And maybe you decided you didn't want to spend a TON of money on a really high monthly premium plan. So perhaps you opt for something called a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) - meaning you pay a lower monthly premium, but you have a high deductible and likely, a high out of pocket max.

So what happens if you get injured and need surgery? Hellooooo huge medical bill coming your way to cover your out of pocket max. Yikes!

But what if you could pay for a second policy? A smaller one that can cover the gap between what your main insurance plan covers and the out of pocket expenses you'll have to take on? BINGO.

In this video, I'll dive into why I decided to get a supplemental health insurance plan, and how it works in my particular case.
