I love the original track so much, that I wanted to hear it recreated with more modern sounding orchestral instruments.
I did it by ear, so it's not a perfect recreation.
It was a good challenge to figure out all the chords and melodies! :)
Is this the second or third orchestral track i released? I can't remember.
But working with different articulations, recording the midi and timing everything correctly is still a challenge haha.
I tried to be really gentle with the audio while mastering.
At first I screwed up with saturation and especially the high frequencies were sounding highly unnatural. Glad i slept a few nights without listening to it, so I could figure it out!
Not a perfect mix, but I'm happy with it.
There is a high value in finishing and releasing something.
