On this episode: a big announcement as well as a delicious recipe from the Afro-Surinamese cuisine, called "Masoesa Alesi" or Masoesa Rijst, made with fresh masusa berries instead of the masusa powder.

Ingredients:
approx. 500 grams of peeled masoesa berries
approx. 1 - 1.5 liters of water
approx. 750 grams of (long grain) rice
1 kg. of chicken
500 grams of salted beef
500 grams of salted ham
5 large cabbage leaves
1 large onion
2 small tomatoes
3 cloves of garlic
approx. 4 tbs. of vegetable oil

Seasoning for the chicken (allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes) :
some salt
crushed black pepper
garlic powder
hint of nutmeg
