A pair of units are seen flying past this footpath crossing within the small village of Cemmaes Road (Glantwymyn) near the edge of Snowdonia National Park. This location is a few minutes up the line from Machynlleth Railway Station where these two units recently joined - one portion from Aberystwyth with the other originating all the way around the Cambrian Coast Line at Pwllheli - to continue their journey along the Cambrian Line and eventually into England. The name comes from the now-closed Cemmes Road railway station which was right next to this level crossing until closure in 1965. As well as Unipart Dorman red/green modules with bi-lingual (English and Welsh) instructions, there are also two alarms for an audible warning, at least one of which sounds to be a 'YA30'.
Cemmes Road has its own timetable on Real Time Trains. I used this to predict when this train would arrive.
