Symposium of Health Economics Issues and Health Financing

Описание: On the 20th and 21st of April 2013, the Institute of Health Economics; University of Dhaka with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH , organized a Symposium on Health Economics Issues and Health Financing.
The objectives of the symposium were:
1.Present the Bangladesh Health Care Financing Strategy (HCFS) to the experts for their view on the implementation plan
2.Initiate linkages between IHE and other international institutes and networks
3.Identify local experts in the field of health economics and health financing who are willing to participate in various national forums on health financing and assist in the implementation of the HCFS
4.Map out most of the IHE graduates and their current status
5.Identify potential areas for IHE to complement the activities of the Health Economics Unit.
Professor Dr. A F M Ruhal Haque, Honorable Minister was present during one of the sessions. along with other notablke experts, Dr. Ali Ghufrom Mukti, Vice Minister, Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, was also present during the event
