Liberal democracy faces numerous challenges, many of which are connected to our moral values and emotions. Citizens are increasingly becoming detached from politics, while some politicians overemotionalise debates, threatening the balance essential for a healthy democracy. The innovation project MORES is carrying out research to promote a balanced approach and foster constructive political debates.
