This is a recording of the zoom session on the capacity-building workshop dedicated to Obliged Enterprises and Volunteering Entities by the Philippine Alliance for Recycling and Materials Sustainability (PARMS) last April 28, 2023 by PARMS EPR Program Director Zed Avecilla.


These kinds of capacity-building workshop will provide a platform for discussion and learning, enabling us to address various topics related to the PARMS ZWTN EPR Program. It aims to enhance the understanding of our EPR Members on the program's objectives, requirements, and best practices. It also creates opportunities for collaboration, networking, and sharing of best practices, equipping participating companies with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively contribute to the program's success.


This workshop serves as an essential component of the PARMS Zero Waste to Nature (ZWTN) Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) Program. While PARMS is committed to providing leadership and guidance, we recognize that the success of this program relies on the collaboration of stakeholders across the supply and waste value chain, along with government participation. Each stakeholder plays a crucial role in driving the objectives of the EPR law forward. PARMS ensures open communication channels among stakeholders to foster collaboration and find mutually beneficial arrangements that prioritize the well-being of people and the planet.
