STORYLINE:
An Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian DJ came together to play at a joint party in Jerusalem - an event unimaginable a few years ago.
Hundreds of partygoers attended the party at the "HaOman 17" club on Thursday night, organised by Israeli DJ Srulik Einhorn.
Entitled "Bridge for Peace", the party was organised by Einhorn, who invited Jordanian DJ Morad Kalice and Palestinian DJ Khalil to promote cultural understanding between Israelis and Palestinians through music.
DJ Khalil, who has been a disc jockey for 11 years, was born in East Jerusalem but has lived in the West Bank city of Ramallah in recent years. He regularly performs in Ramallah venues.
Einhorn is an established DJ who has performed in many venues, both in Israel and abroad.
"We are joining forces together to perform here tonight in Jerusalem together," the DJ said.
Einhorn is part of "Angel Tears", a world music act whose songs have been used on American television shows such as "Sex & The City" and "The Third Watch".
Many of those attending the party at "HaOman 17" were Israeli soldiers on holiday.
"I hope that this picture will have some influence on the soldiers arriving here so that they will know we are all human beings and there is no difference between us," Khalil said.
