This video shows you the highlight of Morrow Mountain State Park in central North Carolina. This parks is diverse and very enjoyable. It has a mountain you can drive up to, a river you can launch a boat, hiking trails at each end and connecting the two, a nice picnic area on top of the mountain and by the river, a nature museum, camping, and even bridal trails.
It's relatively close to the three major metro areas of North Carolina (Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh) so a day trip is easy to do.
