Описание: Former Labor senator Nova Peris has slammed Independent Senator Lidia Thorpe over her outburst at King Charles during a royal reception at Parliament House.

Senator Thorpe was forcibly removed from Parliament House after she screamed at the King and Queen, demanding the monarchs: “Give us back what you stole from us: our bones, our skulls, our people. You destroyed our land. Give us a treaty. We want a treaty in this country.”

“It is a sad indictment on an Australian parliamentarian in this country,” Ms Peris told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
