In this video, I show you how you can carve a wood spirit from cottonwood bark even if you don't have the best gouges to use. After clearing the outside of the bark off, I switch to a Helvie Rough Out Knife for the majority of the carving. It is challenging at times, but it was a super fun carve and I plan on more bark carving in the future. I hope you enjoy the carve!
