In this episode James shows us how to correctly use a handsaw. The secret lies in the stroke of the saw, not how much muscle you need to apply. The saws blade is only designed to cut on the down slope which allows you to put all your body weight behind it.
For an accurate cut, use your thumb as a guide to start the first stroke. Job done!
