Can you use dynamic mics in an Isovox 2?

Hey guys,

Today I want to make a video showing you a little workaround that I discovered when using the Isovox 2.

First off, I really like the Isovox. It's such a helpful and handy tool when it comes to vocal practice and recording for music and podcasts and anything else I feel like doing.

If I’m having a bad day, I’ll just go hide and scream in my little helmet stand. Bonus!

One thing I found to be very frustrating though it was the fact that you could only seemingly use condenser microphones that were vertical as opposed to something more horizontal like a dynamic microphone so for today, I’m gonna show you what I did using a mic stand and one of my favorite microphones to use on vocals, the Shure Sm7B.

This might be a no brainer for some of you but for those of you who don’t have the time to think about this kind of stuff, check this out. It takes about three minutes.

Seeing as I am primarily a metal vocalist, and seeing as the SM 7B is kind of the perfect vocal mic when it comes to screaming in more aggressive vocals because I can take a lot more SPL and it’s more affordable than certain condenser microphones I thought I would start with that.
